Paid Summer Research Internship in STEM Education

The SEISMIC (Sloan Equity and Inclusion in STEM Introductory Courses (SEISMIC) project, a multi-institutional, interdisciplinary collaboration of ten large public research universities centered on making large introductory STEM courses equitable and inclusive, has a paid summer research internship opportunity in STEM Education through their 'SEISMIc Scholars" project for undergraduate students.

What is SEISMIC Scholars?

The SEISMIC Scholars opportunity is a paid, remote summer research internship to connect undergraduate students with SEISMIC members who are developing educational tools and conducting research to understand how to enhance equity and inclusion in large, STEM introductory courses. As a SEISMIC Scholar, you will engage in various activities over the summer, including participating in data collection and analysis, attending weekly professional development seminars, connecting with other SEISMIC collaborators through the SEISMIC Summer Meeting, and presenting your work in a student colloquium at the end of the summer.
