Science Court: Strengthening Democracy through Rational Discourse. This is an interdisciplinary cross-college effort that involves the application of the scientific method within a mock trial format to promote rational thinking on controversial topics of broad interest. The course includes a strong public outreach component, which through education, aims to combat the polarization and gridlock that is gripping our society.
They are looking for good students interested in being involved in a practical effort to make a change. They want students from all backgrounds and majors to ensure a heterogeneous mix of views.
