Graduating seniors are encouraged to apply to a new accelerated MS internship program in Electrochemical Technology. The program is focused on launching students’ careers in the growing electrochemistry industry (batteries, fuel cells, electrolyzers, sensors, corrosion, plating, etc.).

ACS Career Fair

The MN-ACS is hosting a fall career fair November 3rd. This will be the 10th year of the event. Many UMN chemistry majors have attended in the past and have found the event very useful.

The individual who fills this position will support the research and teaching activities of the Environmental Engineering Program within CEGE. Welcome Event

DEI Fall Welcome Event on Friday October 1st from 12-2 pm on the lawn in front of Smith. We will be serving cake, cookies, and lemonade. Bell Museum Interpretive Guide

Museum Interpretive Guides deliver Bell Museum experiences to PreK–12 school groups and public audiences. This position facilitates visitor learning in areas of the museum including the exhibit galleries, Touch and See Lab, and special programming. Other duties include assisting at museum events on and offsite.

Research now and thru the summer

We are heading up a large pilot study in collaboration with Jacobs Engineering and a Minnesota water utility. The pilot plant will include lime softening, ozone and ozone/AOP, GAC-biofiltration, chloramination, and pipe loops.

Green Chem Research

The Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Coatings and Polymeric are running an exciting Green Chemistry Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program this summer at North Dakota State University! We welcome students interested in green chemistry from diverse educational settings at varying stages of their training. Each REU student will work with an individual Research Mentor for 10 weeks, maximizing the one-on-one mentoring experience.
