The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology is seeking applications for its Undergraduate Physiology In Medicine and Education (UPRIME) program.  Applicants for this American Heart Association funded, 10 week summer program should be juniors or seniors with an interest in biomedicine.  Criteria for selection include GPA, two short essays (on research interests and diversity in science) and letters of recommendation.  Students underrepresented in biomedical research and/or medicine are encouraged to apply.  

The summer program includes hands-on research opportunities, science seminars, and educational advising. In addition to a $6000 stipend, accepted student students will have financial support to attend a national scientific conference. The application deadline is February 16th, 2024.
