2024 USTC FuSEP Summer Research Program
With the theme of "Science and Technology for a Shared Future", the 2024 FuSEP Summer Research Program will select excellent students to work on scientific research projects in experimental teams supervised by USTC professors for 4-8 weeks. Participants are expected to submit a report highlighting their research findings and experiences at USTC. Beyond the research experience, the program offers a diverse array of activities, including enlightening lectures on academic topics, visits to national laboratories, tours to cultural sites, and the chance to interact with USTC student clubs.

UPRIME Summer Research Internship
The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology is seeking applications for its Undergraduate Physiology In Medicine and Education (UPRIME) program. Applicants for this American Heart Association funded, 10 week summer program should be juniors or seniors with an interest in biomedicine. Criteria for selection include GPA, two short essays (on research interests and diversity in science) and letters of recommendation. Students underrepresented in biomedical research and/or medicine are encouraged to apply.
The summer program includes hands-on research opportunities, science seminars, and educational advising. In addition to a $6000 stipend, accepted student students will have financial support to attend a national scientific conference. The application deadline is February 16th, 2024.

HOT Division Summer Research Program
The Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Transplantation (HOT Division) at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities offers an 8-week Summer Research Internship Program under the direction of a University of Minnesota faculty mentor in a research lab and numerous special activities focused on professional development as well as social interaction. The Internship Program aims to develop the next generation of leaders and innovators in the field of hematological and oncological malignancies. Each early-stage intern will gain experience towards the development of a long-term career in research or clinical disciplines. The program runs June 10, 2024 to August 2, 2024 and is specifically open to undergraduate students. An orientation event on the first day will start the internship with all interns in the program as well as the mentors and lab personnel. The internship will end with a poster presentation symposium where each intern prepares and presents a professional poster to their mentors, lab personnel and other Program interns, which will take place on the last day of the Program.
